This was another beautiful day on the Sky.  The river had been low because it hadn't been raining much, but we still made the best of it anyway.  We put in on the South Fork at the cable drop site.  There is a sweet seal launch across the creek that comes in here.  Brett and I tried loops and flailed before going ass over tea kettle.

The day was perfect and there were epic views of the Murchinson Peaks, Mt. Persis, and Mt. Index.

Stay in the left channel.  There is a log spanning the channel under the power lines.  You can go under it on the far right side.  Approach cautiously at higher flows.

Coming under the bridge at the confluence of North and South Forks.

The run was about the average Skykomish.  No carnage in the drop to report.  The left side of Anderson Hole (above Boulder Drop) was awesome at this flow.  Lots of blunts, ends, and loops here.  Rob stuck some backloops, but Rob is the man.

For a further description of the Sky, refer to the more detailed description in this previous trip.

We went down and did a second run from Boulder Drop down.  Check that one out in this trip report.
