The 4th of July marked the Little White Salmon Extreme Creek Race, and my first run of many on this world famous steep creek. The flow was a healthy 3 feet, a near perfect level for a first fun. Although the run starts up slowly, and mellow around the first few corners, it quickly drops away into Gettin' Busy, a continuous Class V boulder mess that ends in Boulder Sluice. Gettin' Busy has more lines and moves than most rivers have, so go with someone who knows, or be prepared for a full-on portage and scout fest.

The racers used getting busy as a warmup before the first round of head-to-head racing.

More TR to come soon. Sorry for the delay.
